QPE supports MBO of MediMatch

Queen’s Park Equity (“QPE”) is delighted to announce it has supported the MBO of MediMatch, one of the fastest growing digitalised dental laboratories in the UK which serves more than 2,000 dentists nationally. It also has a presence in Europe with labs in Dublin, Milan and Paris. The business has been growing at ~20% pa over the past three years thanks to its digital-first approach in a highly fragmented UK market that QPE believes remains ripe for further consolidation.

MediMatch’s impressive organic growth means it is extremely well positioned to capitalise on a consolidation strategy backed by QPE in the fragmented UK and EU dental laboratory sector. The market is also benefitting from an increase in privately funded dental treatments and the acceleration of the use of intra-oral scanners by dentists globally.

MediMatch is the eleventh partnership investment from Queen’s Park Equity Fund I, which was oversubscribed and closed at its hard cap of £202m in December 2020 and last year delivered its inaugural exit at 7.6x MMx through the exit of Encore. QPE is focused on providing capital and expertise to high-quality, entrepreneur-led businesses within the Healthcare & Pharma, Education and Tech Enabled Business Services sectors, with strong ambition to accelerate their growth.
